Las Vegas - Still the One - September 2013

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas they say. When you get to play such great courses in what can only be described as perfect golfing weather, it is hard not talk about and share our experience. The Mens Division was a "cake walk" for Keith Van Klink from Ryde-Parramatta (Hcp 23 - 21) who cleared out to win by 10 points from Rowan Gietz (Roseville - Hcp 13). Both Keith and Rowan returned 40 stableford points at Wolf Creek in Mesquite, a remarkable result on what can be described as a dramatic, amazing, incredible and many other superlatives of a golf course. 

The Ladies Division was a "two horse race" between Alisa Stackpool (Concord - Hcp 26) and Christine Leveille (Roseville - Hcp 20) with only one shot separating them going into the final round. Christine was able to hold out Alisa to win the Ladies Las Vegas Tour for 2013. 

Apart from the golf during the day, there was plenty to entertain us during the night with Human Nature, Elton John, David Copperfield. Unfortunately we just missed the Shania Twain Concert that commenced the night we left Las Vegas to return home.
