Tour 2 - South Island, New Zealand - February 2015

What a difference a week makes. The wind on Tour 1 disappeared and we enjoyed idyllic weather for the 2nd week - though we did not have any rain in the 2 weeks we enjoyed in Queenstown.

In both the Mens and Ladies competition it was a close tussle going into the final round.

Jack Tuckfield from The Lakes Golf Club (Hcp 22) shot clear of the field with two wonderful scores of 43 points at Millbrook Resort and 41 points at Jacks Point. Greg Smart from Wollongong Golf Club tried valiantly to catch Jack in the last two rounds, but came up short by two shots to repeat a follow up win from last week's tour.. Jack has shown some stirling form after having recently taken out the West Australian Mens tour last November.

Yvonne Murray (Blackheath), Lyn Saggers (Yamba) and Lynette Smart (Wollongong) all had an opportunity to win the Ladies Section. Lyn Saggers returned the best score of
34 points in the final round, but just failed by 1 point to catch Lynette Smart who repeated the win she enjoyed the previous week.
