Sunshine on my Shoulders !

Our annual visit to the Sunshine Coast did not disappoint those that attended the 9 nights / 6 games of golf that was enjoyed on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Marvellous weather with sunshine every day and playing a great variety of courses.

Jeff Cutler from Tallwoods (Handicap 8 -10) was able to wear down the "young gun" David Patrick (Springsure G.C.) who shot away to a commanding lead with strong rounds over the first two days. But consistency paid off for Jeff who scored in the mid-thirties every day except for his round at Maroochy River and ran away to a comfortable 6 shot win.

The Ladies Division was reasonable close over the 6 rounds, however a final round of 35 points from Cheryl Ward (North Ryde G.C.) off a handicap of 11 -12 put the matter beyond doubt. Cheryl ran away by 9 shots from three ladies all tied on the same score with the runner-up decided on countback - Denise Hodge (Sanctuary Cove off a handicap of 28 - 30)
