2014 Christmas Day Results
ALAN BALDERSTON SONIA HICKEY
Pretty warm conditions greeted those at Stonecutters Ridge this year for the holding of our Annual Christmas Day.
If the weather wasnt warm enough then the scores returned by our senior players were certainly HOT !
Alan Balderston from The Lakes Golf CLub (Play Hcp 18) returned an amazing 42 points to beat Roger Bortfield (Ryde-Parramatta GC) and Zel Diamant (Howlong GC) who were one shot behind with 41 points. In June Alan won the Hawaiian Islands tour and hence with 42 points also won the Men's Section of the Champion of Champions.
Sonia Hickey from Cromer Golf Club (Play Hcp 20) played magnificently to record 44 points just ahead of Maree Osburne (Russell Vale GC) who scored 43 points. Margaret Poulton (Camden GC) our winner from the Sunshine Coast in May was the best Lady Champion of Champions with a great score of 40 points.
